"But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear."

Wonderland

The Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?
Alice: I am afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But, I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

Hey! My name is Lindsay and I am currently studying psychology in beautiful GA. I only have one year of school left before I enter the true reality of adulthood and I felt the need to create this blog to document my last few semesters as a student. You may be wondering why I have chosen to call this "Lindsay in Wonderland." Well, it's really quite simple... I have always loved the story of Alice in Wonderland. I like to think of my self as a unique individual who lives life  differently than most people, like Alice.

One of my favorite quotes from the movie is spoken by Alice, " I try to believe in as many as six impossible things before breakfast. Count them, Alice. One, there are drinks that make you shrink. Two, there are foods that make you grow. Three, animals can talk. Four, cats can disappear. Five, there is a place called Wonderland. Six, I can slay the Jabberwocky."

Life seems impossible at times with school, work, family, friends, and ministry. But, overcoming these seemingly impossible challenges is what motivates me. I know that I have a God who is bigger than any obstacle and He is the one that has created me to be the unique person that I am today. In Matthew 19:26 Jesus says, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

All of this being said, I like to think of my life as a Wonderland experience; full of new and fun surprises around every corner. Yes, there will be trials and tribulations, but that's how we grow to become who we were meant to be.
